Jenny Trapp
She/Her
LAMDA in Schools Coach & Dep Clubs Teacher
Jenny is an actor/puppeteer/singer who has been performing for over 15 years and teaching for over 10 years. She trained in Musical Theatre, graduating from The London College of Music with a First Class Honours Degree. Whilst training she ran the dance society alongside life at drama school and ran weekly classes whilst choreographing full shows including many different types of performance.
Since Graduating, Jenny has been touring all over the world in a variety of shows which include Flashdance, The Full Monty, immersive dinosaur shows as well as flying around the UK in the arena tour of David Walliams’ Grandpa’s Great Escape. Over the last few years she’s discovered her love and passion for puppetry. She toured in Julia Donaldson’s Tales From Acorn Wood, at one point playing all the character as the swing, then returned as Hide and Seek Pig, alongside many other puppets! Most recently, she has been touring the UK and Singapore in The Very Hungry Caterpillar as The Caterpillar himself, whilst also getting to grips with over 70 puppets in the show.
Jenny is extremely passionate about both stage and screen and the storytelling behind a performance. She loves helping students find their performing flair, whether that be in a group or solo setting, she loves to help build confidence, teach performing skills and encourage creativity in all ages.
Jenny is thrilled to join the Vibe team and can’t wait to share her love of performance with the Vibe students.
