Alex graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in musical theatre from the Arts Educational Schools London in 2012. Since graduating he has performed on many stages in the West End; in the actor musician production of Once (The Phoenix Theatre) as well as various shows at The Palace Theatre, The Prince of Wales Theatre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane and The Royal Opera House.
For many years Alex has been performing both internationally and across the U.K. He has; performed as a solo pianist and guitarist, fronted an eclectic mix of bands and taken the role of resident musician/singer in hotels. He has a repertoire of well over 500 songs and many themed sets.
He has performed at the prestigious Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London's Soho, at the Regent Street Festival, at Spotify's London HQ, on The Big Top stage at the Isle of Wight festival as well as The Calling Festival, Fusion Festival in Germany, Blue Balls Festival in Switzerland and Kendal Calling.
As well as performing, Alex has spent a vast amount of his time teaching all over the country. He has taught at many professional musical theatre colleges including ArtsEd, The Brighton Academy and Chichester College as well as lecturing at the University of Farnham. He has also been a singing teacher at many different Stagecoaches for a number of years and has been musical director for countless shows. He is trained in Paediatric First Aid.
Alex is incredibly passionate about 'Vibe Arts’ and being a part of the team delivering exceptional and unique Musical Theatre training to young people.
